WE Institute was a client of COM Marketing, a digital agency in Alexandria, NSW, Australia. Working as a WordPress developer in the agency’s COM Ninjas team, I developed the pages for the new version of the WE Institute website (sds-v2) using Beaver Builder on COM Marketing’s hosting, alongside server tasks on the agency’s Panthur platform.
Problem
The agency needed the new WE Institute site built page by page in Beaver Builder so the client and account team could keep editing it visually after launch. The pages had to follow the approved design, stay consistent across the site and work on desktop, tablet and mobile — delivered remotely within the agency’s existing task and review process.
Solution
Built each page in Beaver Builder using reusable rows and modules for consistent layouts, with custom CSS and jQuery where the builder’s defaults weren’t enough. Every page was checked on desktop, tablet and mobile before review, with tasks tracked in Trello and feedback handled over Slack and weekly Zoom meetings.
Brief & Task Intake
Picked up page briefs and design references for the WE Institute build from the team’s Trello board.
Page Builds in Beaver Builder
Built the site pages with Beaver Builder rows and modules, matching the approved layouts.
Custom Styling & Interactions
Added custom CSS and jQuery for details the builder’s default modules didn’t cover.
Responsive Checks
Reviewed every page on desktop, tablet and mobile and fixed layout issues before handoff.
Review & Revisions
Shared progress on Slack and in weekly Zoom meetings, then applied the team’s feedback.
